Most children feel like winning is what makes them special, but the stars in this story learn from Twinkle that doing your best is what matters most. The book begins as the five friends are gathered in the night sky and wonder how God knows them when there are thousands of other stars in the universe. They decide to have a contest to see what they are best at doing and think perhaps that is what makes them special to God.
I wrote this book for my children 5 years ago and did not know I’d ever be offering it for sale. But recently they have pulled the book from our bookshelf and asked me to read it again. Since they like it, I thought other children would enjoy hearing the story as well. It is a soft cover with full color pages and measures 8.5 by 8.5 inches square.
