Celebration Sun Candle Holder

This beautiful stacking sun is designed in the Waldorf School tradition for use as a birthday ring. We gave it a layered birthday cake appearance, but with the sun to hint at how we circle the sun for each birthday. The layers fit together like a puzzle and may be used all together or in their own separate ways. Whether this is only for birthdays or kept out as a changing seasonal display, it's a beautiful candle holder to bring warmth and light into your home. 

Crafted from maple wood and measures 8-inches wide. Does not include candles, ornaments, or brass inserts.

We currently don't offer the decorative ornaments, but you can choose any from the Grimm's brand of birthday ring ornaments to fit into our candle holder. A lot of online retailers have them available, so just do an internet search to find various shops.

You'll want candles that are 1/2-inch wide by 4-inches tall. I like these candles: Eika Beeswax Candles and Dipam Beeswax Candles

And for the metal candle holders, you can use the Grimm's Brass Candleholder.

Or as a DIY cheaper option for the metal holders, you can use these Grommets and a hot glue gun to apply a line of glue around the outside bottom. That will help them fit snugly into your holder (choose the 1/2-inch size).
