Our 3-Part Cards Box is a great place to store and display your three part cards. Does not come with cards. Three Part Cards are also known as Nomenclature Cards and used in Montessori classrooms. There are usually a picture-only, a word-only, and a control card with picture and word together. They are helpful for children in learning vocabulary, reading and spelling, making connections, and classifying materials. Many companies offer the cards either in PDF or printed forms and the content can be anything from plants and animals to history, science, and geography.

You can set up a simple matching game by having two of each card and the child matches the picture-to-picture or word-to-word. Then you can practice matching picture-to-word. You can play a memory game with the cards. If you have small objects that match the cards, you can have the child place the object that goes with it.
